Privacy protection

Privacy protection is extremely important for the Croatian Sambo Federation (HSS). Following the basic principles of privacy and in accordance with data protection legislation, HSS undertakes to protect the private data of its users and third parties involved in their activities. Accordingly, HSS has established the following measures and rules related to privacy protection:

  1. Collection and use of data: HSS will collect only those data that are necessary to provide services and fulfill its legal obligations. The data will be used exclusively for the purpose for which it was collected, and HSS will ensure that the collected data is not used in a way that could compromise the privacy of individuals.

Individuals also have the right to object to data processing and the right to data portability. HSS will provide support and enable the exercise of these rights at the user’s request.

  5. Cooperation with third parties: HSS will ensure that third parties that have access to or participate in data processing take appropriate privacy protection measures. Contracts and agreements will be established to govern the terms and obligations of third parties with respect to the protection of data privacy. HSS will carefully select trusted third parties with whom to share data and verify their compliance with privacy regulations.


In the event of any breach of privacy or data security, HSS will take appropriate steps to determine the cause of the incident, stop unauthorized access and prevent further breaches of data privacy. All relevant entities, including competent authorities and users affected by such an incident, will be notified.

HSS will regularly review and update its privacy practices and policies to ensure compliance with the latest legislation and best practices. Users will be notified of any significant changes to the privacy policy through notices on the HSS website or other appropriate communication channels.
